Tim obtained a Bachelor of Arts (With Distinction) from the University of Alberta in 1982 and his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Alberta in 1985. Admitted to the Alberta Bar in 1986, Tim has exclusively conducted a litigation practice throughout his career.
Tim’s practice consists of serious personal injury claims, disability disputes, insurance coverage litigation, and professional negligence. He is frequently retained as conflict counsel by large and small firms throughout Alberta.
Tim has handled matters before the Provincial Court, the Court of Queen’s Bench, the Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of Canada. He has successfully conducted innumerable examinations, judicial dispute resolutions, administrative hearings, trials, and appeals.
Away from the office, Tim likes to ride his bike, read books, ski, and travel. He loves spending time with his wife and is a proud father of three.
